Once the blue light on the front of the printer stops blinking the printer is ready for use. When unloading the paper, use the gray cogwheel to back the paper out. When loading inks, make sure they lock in place (they are spring loaded).

If they don’t lock in place you have the wrong ink in the wrong slot. When loading paper make sure the gray spindle is on the left side of the paper roll and the black spindle is on the right side of the roll, feed paper down into the printer until blue light comes on. You will have to register the printer before loading the print driver (you are registering the printer to a particular computer, don’t need internet connection.). After registering the printer then you will need to load the Maintenance utility and follow with loading the printer driver. It is common for up to half the ink tanks and most of the maintenance cartridge to be utilized in the first charging of the printer. If you experience banding please run the print head cleaning feature.

Always remove the paper before transporting the printer. If the paper is not removed you risk damaging the paper sensor. If the paper sensor is damaged the DX100 will not recognize the paper and will error out. Imaging Spectrum offers free support for our regular customers.

I output several black-and-white images that showed a great deal of banding in the darkest portions of the print. Ran print head alignment. Still no change in the output of black-and-white print. Did a nozzle check. Rand Print head alignment again. Output another black-and-white print and again no change.

So I changed the orientation of the image from horizontal to vertical change the print dialog settings from horizontal to vertical. Output another black-and-white print but this time no banding. Any explanations on this? Thanks, Don Emmerich.

This might be the worst printer ever. We have changed out 6 at the current job I work. This printer fails in humid climates. I’m on this site looking for any solutions maybe anyone has because Fuji just doesn’t have one. All lights flashing error every light and beeps. Are techs call fuji about it and every time and they just send us a new unit. This is our 6th unit here in Hawaii.

I would research other printers and skip this one. Sure the prints are amazing and it does a great job there. But when you have to send it out almost ever two months it’s not worth the troubles.

Buyers be ware.

I would give more stars, because it makes getting my pictures to the Walmart kiosks much easier. There are a few problems though. While ordering online the app doesn't take into account my phones on-screen home button and the interface extends to far.

When entering the email address the input field is obscured by the keyboard. The better older version used GREEN check marks. The newer version uses black ones and are much harder to see.

It would be a lot easier to use if it had a sorting feature when selecting photos to ttansfer. Or, at least sort them newest to oldest. Most people would want the latest pictures before the ones that they may have already printed. It seems as though it uses an open, unencrypted wifi connection to the kiosks.

I would feel much better if I knew my pictures were being transmitted securely to the kiosk. I have seen people use the iPhone version and it doesn't always connect automatically to the wifi, the Android version does and I give it props for that.

JUST MAKE THE CONNECTION SECURE! My two cents, (maybe 3) Thank you. I would give more stars, because it makes getting my pictures to the Walmart kiosks much easier.

JUST MAKE THE CONNECTION SECURE! My two cents, (maybe 3) Thank you. I have the Galaxy S7. The app worked the first couple of times I tried it on small orders but when I tried to do a larger one (about 25 photos) the editing option went haywire.

It showed a very pixellated photo, it was the wrong orientation and if I tried to swap the orientation it would rotate the photo with it (a landscape photo would show in portrait format and then if the orientation was changed it showed a portrait format as landscape). Also no way to empty the cart. Once added I had to individually delete so that I could tried to just reload them into the app. Uninstalled and reinstalled and the photos were still in the cart.

Software

Had to individually delete each photo uninstall, reinstall, reload photos and it still had the same editing problem even just loading 5 photos. Very frustrating to use all around. Finally just left it unistalled.
